Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 14, 2026
1. Information We Collect
Information members enter themselves when signing up
- Required: username, nickname and password. Passwords are never stored in plain text; they are kept using one-way encryption.
- Optional: email address. You can sign up without one. If you enter and verify it, it is used for password resets and notifications.
- If you sign up with a Google account: your Google account identifier, email address and name. We do not receive your profile photo.
Information recorded automatically while you use the Service
- IP address, browser information (User-Agent) and access time
- A device identifier that your browser generates at random and stores. It is not built by reading your device’s hardware specifications or characteristics such as screen or fonts; it is an arbitrary value saved once in your browser and reused.
Information members post to the Service themselves
- Bio, posts and comments, and favorite sports and teams settings
Information we do not collect: we do not collect real names, national identification numbers, mobile phone numbers, addresses, or payment or financial information.
2. Purposes of Use
- Identifying members and keeping them logged in
- Running the community: providing posts, comments, picks and the ranking
- Fair distribution of free points: to prevent one person from creating multiple accounts and receiving sign-up points more than once, we compare connection information and device identifiers and limit the number of accounts that can be created on one device.
- Responding to inquiries, and checking for and dealing with misuse
3. Values Stored in Your Browser
- Login session cookie: keeps you logged in. It is set so that it cannot be read by JavaScript and expires after 30 days.
- Device identifier: the arbitrary identifier described in section 1, stored in your browser.
- Display settings: your dark or light theme choice and whether you have seen the first-visit guide.
We may use Google Analytics to review visit statistics, in which case cookies set by Google are also stored. You can refuse cookies in your browser settings, but you will not stay logged in if you do.
4. Disclosure to Third Parties and Outsourcing
We do not provide members’ personal information to third parties. However, we outsource the following tasks needed to run the Service.
- Resend: sending emails (verification emails and password reset emails). Your email address is shared for this purpose.
- Amazon Web Services: server operation and image storage.
- Google Analytics: visit statistics analysis (where used).
5. Retention Period
Member information is kept for as long as the membership remains active. Expired login sessions are deleted automatically.
If you would like your account deleted, please make a request through the contact channel below. We will delete your member information after confirming the request. However, records created together with other members (such as posts and comments) may remain with the author information removed, to keep the community context intact.
6. Your Rights
Members can view and correct their own information at any time. You can change your nickname and bio directly on the MY page. If you want your personal information deleted or its processing stopped, you can make a request through the contact channel below.
7. Children Under 14
The Service does not accept sign-ups from children under the age of 14.
8. Contact
For questions about how personal information is handled, or requests to view or delete it, please submit them through the contact channel within the Service. We will review them and reply.
9. Changes to This Policy
If this Policy changes, we will announce the changes and their effective date in the Notices.
