Terms of Service
Effective date: July 14, 2026
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the sports prediction and analysis community provided by PickGround (the “Service”), and the rights and obligations of members and the Service.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- Member: a person who agrees to these Terms, creates an account and uses the Service.
- Points: a means of use that the Service gives to members free of charge and that can be used only within the Service.
- Pick: a record a member submits, together with points, predicting the result of a match.
- Posts: posts, comments, images and other content a member uploads to the Service.
Article 3 (Sign-up)
Anyone aged 14 or older may sign up by entering a username, nickname and password. Entering an email address is optional; if entered and verified, it is used for password resets and notifications. You may also sign up with a Google account.
One person may not create multiple accounts. To keep the free points given at sign-up fairly distributed, the Service limits the number of accounts that can be created on one device based on connection information and a device identifier.
Article 4 (Points)
Points are given free of charge on sign-up and for community activity (taking part in predictions, writing posts, daily check-in and so on). Members can use points to take part in match predictions.
Points are a means of use that exists only within the PickGround service. They cannot be moved outside the Service, transferred to another member, or sold to any third party.
Article 5 (Picks and Ranking)
A pick is recorded exactly as it was at the time it was submitted and is graded automatically according to the result once the match ends. The ranking is calculated from each member’s hit rate and ROI. If a match is cancelled or does not proceed normally, the related pick is made void and the points used are returned.
Other members’ picks and analyses are the personal opinions of their authors and are for reference only. A member’s own decisions based on them, and the results of those decisions, belong to that member.
Article 6 (Posts)
Copyright in a post belongs to the member who wrote it. The Service may display posts to the extent necessary for operating, improving and promoting the Service.
The following are prohibited:
- Posts that defame or insult others, profanity, and hate speech
- Spam, advertising, and repeated flooding
- Posting another person’s personal information or copyrighted work without permission
- Obtaining points or manipulating the ranking by automated means
- Using the Service through multiple accounts
Article 7 (Restrictions on Use)
If a member violates these Terms, the Service may hide posts, take back points obtained improperly, or suspend the account. When taking such a measure, the Service will inform the member of the reason.
Article 8 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)
The Service may change what it provides or suspend part of it as required for operational or technical reasons. Significant changes will be announced in advance through the Notices board.
Article 9 (Disclaimer)
Data such as match schedules, scores and standings is received from external providers and displayed as is, and may be delayed or differ from actual results. The Service does not guarantee the accuracy of this data and is not liable for failing to provide the Service due to causes beyond its control, such as natural disasters or network failures.
Article 10 (Changes to These Terms)
If these Terms change, the changes and their effective date will be announced in the Notices. Members who do not agree to the revised Terms may stop using the Service.
Supplementary provision: these Terms take effect on July 14, 2026.
